"Not so happening" week

This week was quite quiet, nothing fantastic going on; except for a few....
1. Heheee...did some bitching (about work) with friends during happy hours at villa bali.
I loved the fried chicken wings in villa bali. Oh, they have Balinese dance which i don't appreciate.
2. I played squash and swim
Trying to reduce the guilt when I ate soooo much this week.
3. My all time favorite salsa class...
Wow, it's getting really fun but how I wish I had a partner. Guys, who's game for it?
4. Had dinner at a friend place again; the theme was Japanese food.
we cooked salad, miso, miso samon, japanese pancake (with lots of cabbage and bacon), chicken katsu; drank green tea, beer and saka.... Oh, green tea ice-cream too (Hokkaido).

Oh Yes..... I remembered an incident...
After dinner at the friend's place, I walked to clark quay MRT station. This angmoh approached me and asked for direction to Chimes.... Being a nice Singaporean, I told him the direction....
Then he asked where am I heading to; which my answer is obviously "Home".
He gave me a surprise look and hints me to party with him.... Mmm.... not sure what he really mean - friendly or intention cheeky act?

In town partying again

Last night, we are lured into going thumper because of the Miss Maxim Search. It is looking for 2008's hottest babes! However, we were disappointed because we misinterpreted the intent. It was a search; not a contest!!!!! So we did not get to check out the babes. Damn!!!
At midnight, we hop over to St James for more boozes and dance. The real party ended with supper at Spice, River valley road. By then, it was ~4am when I got home; but I wasn't tired at all... maybe I slept too much during the day.

Few things that I have noticed are:
1. The clubs are no longer as crowded as before; where have all the people gone? Don't they party? Or hiding home and watch TV/play games?
2. However, for those that partied, they are really hardcore... they loosen up and were wild at the dance floor.
3. Another observation is people go to club to look for one night-stand. How do I know? The guy danced from one gal to another. And he has the horny look :-p hehehee...
4. Food industries that serve supper, have good business. At 3am, most restaurants along river valley are packed.

Oh, don't start thinking I am a party animal ok. I went party more often within these 2 weeks because the San Diego friends are in town..... Mmm... I really enjoyed hanging out with them; a bundle of fun and extremely nice people :-)

Also, a girl friend was invited by the organiser to be in the contest but she turned it down... I bet she will win because she is really gorgeous... Here's the info, who's game for it?

My childhood environment

Last Sunday, I went to Ubin for cycling.
It was nice, minus the rain....
Ubin has not changed much since my last trip there...
It is still the same old nature, which reminds me of my childhood.
Living in the rural, surround by trees and grass. It was old but nice memories.
Riding fast especially downs the slope; it just makes me feel young again...

I have a thought - can adult be like kids?
Little things could please the kids and they forget any unhappiness fast.
As we grew into adults, we desired for more materialistic items and get upset over little trivial issues. This is one of the changes that I prefer not to have....
After all, innocence means that we are worthy of love?

Here are some pictures:-
Going Ubin when the sky is dark!! Loco ah (crazy ah)...
The same environment where I was brought up:

Sick + Drinking = ???

Recently because of the weirdo weather, I fell sick: fever -> bodyaching -> coughing -> sorethroat.
Still, that does not stop me from drinking. Come-on, I don't drink that often; but when I do, I drunk pretty lot.
After work, went happy hours at Villa Bali with my co-workers. I think I had like 2 voka + 1 beer... (yes, beer...I have start to learn to apppreciate it).
Round 2 of beer with another gang at Lau Pa Sat, followed by round 3 at Bala, Suntec.
End the night by partying at Butterfactory till like 2.30am.
Damn, I didn't realise how much I drank until I woke up the next day... I'm losing my voice.
Glad that there's no hangover though...

Suicide

A friend upsets me alot - she claimed that she wanted to suicide and hate me for informing her family about it.
I didn't know what to do especially when I did not know her that well. All she does was tell me that she very depressed and then for unknown reason; her brother knew my numbers.
Also, I didn't have to mention anything when the brother called; they already knew she was unstable and had attempted suicide before
I wish her well.... really hope she can make it through.

I guess everyone has his or her own problem. Family and friends play an important part to make ones grow strong; but again, alot depend on oneself.

Mi Sangre (My Blood)

Recently, I am hooked to this album - "Mi Sangre" by Juanes. He's a spanish singer.... who sing very well and play excellent guitar.
YES, now I think guys that know how to play guitar are so attractive.

Ok, storytime:-
I took bus this evening and it was so damn packed.
This big guy came and "squeeze" behind me; as the bus moved, he kept hitting my backside.
That's pissed me off; so I elbowed him. Of course I acted as if it was an accident.
Mmmm... I think I'm getting really short-fused recently....
