Haven't seen the ladies for the longest time and finally, we manage to meet up over lunch and tea break. 

We had a decent lunch at "la villa" (Italian restaurant).

Wonderful food and it's my first time trying "angel hair" pasta. 

I like it as it is like thicker version of beehoon. Hehee.

My birthday just passed but the ladies still got me a wonderful present - A pandora bracelet!!!

I am like a kid who received a candy and will love to yell out in joy. 

Of course I didn't as we are in a public place.. Need to watch my behaviour.

Things change

A week ago, I was still lying at the hospital bed; whereas today, I can happily smile and hug "stephy" (a softie designed by princess lotte). 

The feeling is awesome about being care by loved ones and friends. 

My body has changed over the years - good to bad. I was pretty upset about it but later realised I should be the one controlling it. 

Who to blame if I didn't take good care of it? Me ! 

This incident is my wake up call as I have pretty much take things for granted. 

In the past, I didn't showered as much love/concern for my families and friends (which now I truly regret) but they didn't abandon me. 

I am very thankful for it and promised that I will be a better person! 

Let's celebrate our friendship!!!

A week later: Smile despite some pain and movement restriction. 

Dreams

Since my surgery, I am forbidden to intake certain food especially tidbits, fried stuffs, seafood etc for a month. 

Therefore, in return ... I dreamt of delicious food... 

Day 1- I dreamt of eating twisties 

Day 2 - it's holding on to a soft and yummy looking sugar doughnut.. 

I'm drooling now :( 

Day 3 - it's international BUFFET!! 

What's next??? 

Let's count down and I am looking forward to the day where the food gate reopen. 

I miss my boy who is at mum's place ...until I am better 

Jeans don't fit anymore

I had confirmed the return work date - 08 Jun.
But I had another huge issue to deal with....
My jeans DON'T fit anymore!!!!!

Lesson learnt

I fell sick upon touched down today - flu. 

Not sure if this is an after-holiday withdrawal symptom. 

Anyway, I should be resting in bed but backside itchy and did some house chores; and this is what happen... 

I throw stuffs that ain't for washing into the machine. 

PS: It's a rubber ring with LED disco light. 

Now, I can turn off the kitchen light and start partying.. Woohoo

Flight delayed ~6 hrs

After a series of drama on my swollen lip, followed by another allergy reaction due to panadol and then flu.
This morning, I am finally feeling slight better to proceed with the holiday.
Another surprise when I arrived at the airport - flight delay for 6 hrs.
I hope this is the end and the rest of holiday will be good..
Maybe it is also time to go 四马路??

Lovely day started with a surprise gesture from him.
Late morning, I had an appointment to do IPL on my lower leg which WORKS perfectly! I am really happy with the result :)

Followed by lunch alone at Pho Hoa Suntec.. Mmm sometime it is nice to have alone time, is it? Hehe...
Oh, how was the lunch? It is really yummy, especially I haven't have pho in such a long long time.

Did a bit of shopping (2 dresses) before heading for the spa ;)
And... Oh mine.. Oh mine...bumped into some topless hunky *drooling* at the bugis

Relaxing spa @ orchard was over in a blink of eye but actually it's 2hrs already.

Next stop - Had a fragrant jasmine tea and "so so" waffle at "restore" cafe @ Tiong Bahru. Restore is a cafe cum old furniture shop. One of those grandma days chair costs S$500!!

Oh yes, We picked up our air ticket to Maldives in between the appointment .. Eeeehaaa ;)

Dinner was german food @ "Werner's oven" (Siglap). Sinful food but who care when it is with great companies!
Top off with udder's ice cream as desert. Oooo...la la

What a "food-foo" day ;)
I wonder if this beats a camping at costa brava ?? A friend was bragging about it yesterday.. Arghh :p
