Giris...

Mucho giris!!!!
Giris is the spaniard's way of referring tourists; just like we called the westerns as ang mohs.
I went for a little walk at the city today.... Gosh.... there are so many tourists around!!!! so I had to u-turn and return to my quiet neighbourhood...
Maybe it's age thingy... now I prefers the quiet neighbourhood, rather than the crowded city.

OH, did I mention my apartment is only 20 steps away from the renowned disco?.... But I haven't step in yet....

Lost again

It's raining in Barcelona today.
Not sure if my mood was affected by it or I am just tired.
I was feeling so negative and moody.
Felt like quitting the job.
I have the sudden urge to switch line... maybe I don't want to be an engineer again?
Before, I thought leaving to a place where no one know me... I might be happier. This is no longer stand....
I am lost in life again.
This is no good!!!!

Excitement

Mmm... I didn't have much fun as the previous trip. Not sure why.
In fact, my trip will be extending for another 2 wks... I have no problem with extending but not sure why I find life boring now...
Maybe I should start to look for some excitement. Any recommendation?
Oh, don’t get me wrong..I mean Barcelona is an awesome place.
Problem lies with me… I am a boring person.

Partial Moon Eclipse - Barcelona

My morning arrival at barcelona wasn't pleasant.
From the airport, I took a bus and transferred to train; in order to get to the rental apartment....
Man, by the time I arrived the train, the lift was under maintance; thus I have to carry my super heavy laptop bag and 15kg baggage up the stairs (~3 storey).
Beside the travelling distance, I am happy with the stay ;-)

Got a pleasant suprise on the arrival night - partial moon eclipse happening right in front of me.
If to be in Sinagpore, I will be likely in bed or does not even have notice it.

Lost my temper

Yesterday, i gave up my seat to a pregant lady.
However, an uncle "snatch" it away.
I was pretty pissed that I scolded him.
I didn't expect that I will throw my temper in public.
Maybe I am really pissed!

Love keeps it alive

Yesterday, went to changi village for dinner.
While q for the super long q lasi lemak, I witnessed a few interesting incidents.
1. Two old men (<65yrs old)...and I belived one is older than the other. The younger one has insist the older one to take a seat while he q for the food.... Think he has q for at least 45min. Also, he made sure that the older one get his food 1st.
Maybe they are related or just best buddy... it's just show that care/love/concern gave people the strength to live.
2. I overheard a mum (~50) skipped her dinner just to q for ~an hr so that she can buy food for her grown up sons. This is why people say - Mum is the greatest of all :-)

Guy on Bus

I have just terminate my MaxOnline… meaning I will have less time surfing the net.
Anyway, I think it's a waste of money to me as I seldom use it.
I paid like $80 per month…. Think I must be crazy to do that.

Today, while taking the public bus to work; there was a guy sitting next to me.
Darn, he was sleeping and kept leaning toward my side.
I think he did it on purpose as never for once, he leaned toward the opposite direction.
I used my bag and pushed him… he woke up but continue again….
I was ready to scold and wack him if he touched me … he didn’t. Maybe because I used my bag to block it.
I am not against people sleeping in the bus or what. I did it some time too…. Just that, please be more considerate "lah".
