Another young life is gone - A man in Melbourne threw her daughter over the bridge.
This world is crazy.... but only with all these craziness; life goes on.
The news: http://sg.news.yahoo.com/afp/20090129/tap-australia-crime-bridge-5a1703c.html
Recently, the naked couple at Holland Village has created a lot of talk in Singapore.
I agreed with one of the readers- Singapore is getting more exciting.
Oh, the naked couple is an ang moh guy and Asian girl?
I wonder which nationality she is.
Can Singaporean be that open? Maybe?
Or is Japanese more submissive?
Or is Taiwanese a better lover?
Or Korean is more affectionate?
Or China is more daring?
or.....mmm.... I wonder....

What is the difference between being proud and cocky?
The first day of work….
I am impressed that I still manage to work pretty well today... especially after 4 days of "unused" brain.
Usually, I will forgot a lot of stuff after a weekend break.
So, the brain is still functioning and working "not bad" - I solved a couple of issues in the morning.
Heheee... but I think some people might say that I am being cocky about the "bragging".
But I seek otherwise... cocky is the word for people who do not know where to put a stop line and keep bragging (non-stop).
Me? I believe I know where is the line; as I know and very well aware that I do NOT know everything.
One must know where their limit is.:-
If you are good at it, be proud of it.
If you are NOT good at it, learn and strive for better.
Again, saw this phase from somewhere – “Your mind works like a parachute; it will ONLY works when it is open”.
Let me know if you have an interesting answer to the question: "What is the difference between being proud and cocky?"
Ok, here is the really cocky one who thinks he is the boss in the household...But he still have to give way to me when I am around.... hehehee....
Oh gosh.... He's seven now... Not sure how many more years he has.
I will treasure every single day. He is my darling who changes my life - in good /bad.

New Year = EAT & FAT
Holy "COW"!!!
Yesterday, I went to a relative place... a lot of new young members which I am confused about who is who’s.
Time flies BUT the elders still think I am 27!! hahaa...
However, when announced my age - the next comment is "Wah, quick get married lor. Look at me! I am a mother of 3"... errr... ok, I'm speechless.
Getting the ang bao wasn’t easy as well. The younger cousins, who are married, started to give me angbao as well (damn paiseh leh). The elders will give ang bao with the same comment - get married soon.
I don't understand why New Year has to the time where people ask the same question about marriage and productivity.
It goes this way - Married liao?
If no, quick go find one.
If yes, the next question is when having kids?
But if you already have a kid, they will ask when the next one is?
Anyway, this year is also the first year where I start giving angbao - to my parent of course.
What has not change in New Year? My eating habits…it is all about waking up late, eat, nap, eat & eat & more eating.
Don’t worry – no more 5kg bak gwa.

No more fireworks...
Mmm… this lunar new year; unlike previous years... I do not feel the CNY mood.
Even when I went to the Chinatown - it was really crowded but still not quite the same.
Maybe the ban of firecracker makes a huge difference - it took away the entire festive mood.
I remember when I was kid, I had so much fun lighting the firecrackers. It's "dangerous" but really add to the festive mood.
Beside "players" should be taking care of their own safely... I hope government will lift the ban.
Anyway, the only "firework" that I can find in SGP is the light sticks.
The least I could do to celebrate CNY is to play with these... and all with the sacrifice with my beauty sleep…hehee…
Or maybe it is the age thing - hate the crowded chinatown but love the peace of lighting the firewok at the beach.
Happy new year and may the year of ox is a good year.
May you enjoy good health and peace.

Too good to be true?
What will you do when there is someone that is super nice to you?
I never thought that I will ever meet a really nice person in this world.
But I did... but again, it could be too good to be true. hahaa....
Hopefully the dream will continue.
Talking about dream - I had been working so much that I had only 5 hrs sleep per day.
Would I die earlier if I continue this way?

Headache
Haven't have a drink for a long time so tonight I am going to get one.
I had headache for the past 3 days. I think is related to work stress?
Mentoring is a tough job for me. Technical work suits me more, I guess.
I hope the government will understand that "foreign talents" do NOT mean all foreign are talented. Please approved the permits with caution!

Jade recommendation
An acquaintance's mum has recently passed away.
It again remind me that life is too short for grudges or unhappiness.
Living life to fullness is important...
I am looking for a jade pendant but with a touch of "modern/fusion" finishing.
Any recommendation?

Quote...
Got this from somewhere:
"Only in a quiet mind is adequate perception of the world."
I start to see the world more clearly....it is time for the move.
To some - it might consider late.
To others - it is bad.
To me - it's now or never.

Chance..
Life has been slightly different for me.
I don't know how to put it into words.
Chance is here, you better grab it before it is gone again.
Understand?
Opportunity does not come straight forward and right at your face.
But if you spot it, you have to move ahead and hold it.

The sun has to set before a new day begins:

Back home but...
Hey, I am back home.
Feeling? I wasn't feeling upset that the holiday is over. Anyway, ran out of cash.
Mmmm.. what have I done in MEL?
I couldn't complain much more as I learnt that people characters are different. Not everyone has the same vision as I do.
However, I learnt to say "NO" - why force myself to do thing that I dislike?
Also, to plan and to be more organise if I want thing to go my way.
Main takeaway - Don't wait for changes to happen... Make it happens by working on the change.

No drugs please.
Stay away from drugs!
Yesterday when I went on a bicycle tour....
We were stopped by a young punk. He was seeking help - asking us to call for an ambulance for his friend. He looked stone as if he was on drug.
Apparently, his friend was breathing weak and not responsive.
So, the tour guide called for an ambulance but both the ambulance and fire engine came (they share the same hotline #).
Anyway, we left after that. Hope the young kids are ok.
OH!!!!! The fire engines HUNK are so handsome with GREAT abs. heheee.....yummy...
