I received the annual report on the sponsored child.
I was so excited and happy to receive news from the kid but not when I read the detail.
1. Health – Good. (Nice, isn’t it)
2. Education – STOP at grade 4. Reason: To do housework.
WHAT!!! Besides improving the community, they are supposed to educate the kids and thus World Vision has been promoting that the child sponsorship is a long term commitment.
What's there to improve when allowing a kid to quit school at young age??? I am pissed and am ready to call the World Vision tomorrow.
If necessary, I will terminate the sponsorship.

Excusive packaging
In Taiwan, they have nice and excusive packaging for Food - very similar to Japan.
I bought a box of pineapple tarts and here's the nice packaging.
Air traffic in Asia got to be very busy as the Lunar New Year is approaching.
In Taoyuan airport, I was offered NT6500 to give up my seat and catch the next day flight.
Nah, I did not grab the offer because
1. The temperature will drop dramatically on that night and I do not have enough to wear.
2. I don’t have fresh clothes with me
3. I have dinner appointment on the very next day.
4. NT6500? Not enough!
Also, my supposing 4.5hrs flight has turned into a 5.5hrs flight – Delayed in Taiwan due to cargo loading malfunction and delayed again in Singapore due to the “extremely heavy traffic”. It was a rough flight but I am glad to be home…. But not a nice time for me to get sick as well. I had a terrible bad throat, ulcer in tongue, almost unbearable body aching.
Now… I am going to just rest in bed

你在拼什么?
Yes, 你在拼什么?
Have you ever thought of that?
In every stages of life, we aim and work toward different goals.
No matter what they are, I wish you all the best.
Today, I went for a hair rebound *again*. Hopefully this one will be a better one than previous.
I was planning to dye the hair to "coffee black" but as the rebound has already steal 4hours of my time.... so I have to postpone the "dye" mission
The back view:

The front: Major Disaster !!! The hair stylist has cut the fringe by toooo much.
sob sob

Monday blues came early!
Brought my laptop and sat by "Bistro @ Changi".
It was a windy day so it is not a bad idea to sit by the cafe - order a cappuccino and salt pepper squids chunks as snacks.
Above sounds great? Not when I turn on my laptop and start working (haiz).
The turn off portion - I'm leaving for Taiwan tomorrow *again*.
I will be back for CNY so see you then :-)
Anyway, Bistro @ Changi is a pretty nice place.
Good place to chill out during the day, or even just R&R.
Good place to just have beer and people watching. You will be surprise on what you see. Heheee…
Good place to have dinner, at least the menu looks good. I will try it some days.
Changi used to be pretty “quiet” but today, it pretty packed with people – both locals and foreign (expats and tourist). Bottom line – Singapore is packed with humans

What make you happy?
There are so many things in life that can make us happy or sad. What are yours that make you feel good about life, about your existence?
This picture of me, is taken at East Coast - after work and had a good meal of black pepper crabs at the Joo Chiat Place.
We sat by the beach, spread out the groundsheet, enjoy a game of “black and white” and a box of D24 durian. Hehee… I am turning into a typical Singaporean, isn’t?
And all these actually make me feel bless and happy!
Recently read a book “Jonathan Livingston Seagull”. It is a book about a seagull learning how to fly and learning about life in the process.
Inspiration book is not my cup of tea but this book was a gift by a manager, 6 yrs ago! I never pick it up, until few days ago. Our thinking keeps changes and evolves as we travel with times.
Personally, I felt that as long we never stop learning, we CAN and WILL be happy.

2011 came just like that!
Zoom.... A year has gone, are you ready for a new year?
Is there any new hope/goal/objective in the coming year? Of course!
Quick review of my last year wishes:
1. Number ONE is Good Health for me and family
Mmm...Errr… At least we are not diagnosis with any incurable disease.
In the New Year; I pray, I wish that everyone have a good health.
2. The line setup will be smooth and our company product will be successfully launched...
Err… still in progress. At least there is improvement. Be optimistic
3. Able to spend more time with friends.
Can be better, I guess.
Love them to bits that they are very understand toward my crazy schedule.
4.Travel / Holiday, to at least 3 more countries.
Ah, checked!
September: Switzerland, Milan (Itay), Munich (Germany)
December: Phuket (Thailand)
5. Getting my own place.
Oops.. SGP housing is expensive for singles to afford. Soon, I hope to own one.
New goal: Actually, it is the same as above.
1. Good Health and Be Happy
2. Nice job with job satisfaction
3. Spending quality time with my love ones
4. Work hard but PLAY harder.
5. Getting an apartment
6. Maybe just one more – wish I will NOT age fast. Aging effect is obvious taking place.
