Hatched - if only you like noisy place

This morning, I had breakfast at "Hatched". It is located at Evans Road, near to Botanic garden; so I was expecting a quiet Sunday morning breakfast. I am so wrong!
It's a PACKED cafe and a small place as well. So, if there is a group or 2 of "super loud" customers, then you can forget about having your breakfast in "peace".
The indoor spacing was so enclosed that any laughs can be echo and amplified by x times.
Please give my ears a break.

Bottom line - I didn’t enjoy my breakfast. Eat quick quick, leave fast fast.
Maybe that what is their strategy so they can make more money by serving more customers?

The food: Pancake is really Thick and Fluffy (if you like). Toast with scrambled egg and smoked salmon.

French Bistro @ Chip Bee Gardens

Had a wonderful dinner at the "Bistro Petit Salut".
Think this is the first time that I had French cusine in SGP. Not bad :)
The price is a little steep if you order ala carta, however the set meal looks promising.

We ordered ala carta this time round, but I hope to come back for more.

Do you know that Bishan Park is filling with commercial shops - spa, dinning and more to come?
I just had late dinner at the Canopy (Bishan Park), after watching "Just Go with It".
The movie was funny and light-hearted, not a fantastic storyline but definitely very entertaining if you just want to chill out and laugh (I was laughing throughout the show).
I enjoyed the show very much despite the review was like only 3 stars. Oh, and if you prefer movie to start on time, go to Cathy.

Desigual top

Every morning for the past one week, I felt I have nothing nice to wear to work.
Felt that I should have update my wardrobe.

Yesterday, I was at Vivo city and.... yes, I bought a top.
I always wanted a brown pull over and I found it at Desigual.
Alright, I know I have alot of "I always wanted this and that"... but hey, isn't that the reason why I am working and has become a slave to money?
Mmm...What happen IF one day, I am jobless? Gosh!!!!

Here's the top, which can be wear as a pull over or as alone.
Not forgeting, it is an off shoulder top which I love it.

Serenity, decent spanish food.

Witness a scenario in the MRT:-
A mother is feeding ice-cream to her toddler (think should be 3-5 yrs old, as the boy was pretty tall and speak fluent English). The Dad is standing aside and watch.
Mum: You still want the ice cream? Come, finish this or I will put it away.
Boy: (Totally ignore the mum’s question)…. Mummy name is xxx, Daddy name is “gu-do” (idiot) daddy!

Then the PA system announced: Please do not eat or drink in the train.
Mum: Boy, you hear that? No eating or drinking in the train.
Then… she continues to feed the boy with the ice-cream. WTF!!!!!

Anyway, here's another recommendation for food....
Met up with an old classmate for lunch at Serenity @ Vivo. It is a spanish eatery.
I can hardly find a decent spanish food in Singapore, but this is quite good; except that it comes with a BIG tag (~$170 for 2 pax!!!!).
