Teadot @ west gate

Brunch time!
Loved the blender drink - green tea with red dates. It's so yummy!! Oh, I ordered a less syrup version since I no longer have super sweet tooth.

The food are decent with a resonable pricing.
Will definitely visit it again.

Bella pizza

Keen to have some great pizza?
Head out to bella pizza @ Robertson Quay.

Beautiful and yummy pizza.

Spinach salad. It's good too but why is green so expensive in singapore ??

How to please me?
Just serve me a good meal. Simple, right?
And Sir always say I will elope with a Spanish chef if I found one. Haha...

Em by the bay

Em by the bay is located by the singapore river and next to Gallery Hotel.
It's alfresco concept which I loved.

Thump up for the environment!!

Food: Horrible !! And terrible!!!

Egg Royale: COLD egg benedict with soggy muffin.
How long was this in the kitchen before served ?

Em breakfast: Everything on this plate is cold. Make us wonder if they have scoop from the hotel breakfast buffet.
What is worse than cold chewy "toast"?

The White Rabbit

I have read a number of fave reviews about the white rabbit..
So here I am - to try the lunch menu ($32-38++).

The olive bread is yum yum..
Wish we know how to bake this at home.

Starter: foie gras
Delicious !!!

Main: Sea bass
Unfortunately, the fish is over cooked.

The ambience (used to be an old church) is cosy.. This place is worth a visit.

Sushi Tei

This is one of my favourite jap chain restaurant.
Food are usually fresh but it's slightly pricey.

Trying out their new dish - squid ink spaghetti.
They have yet to disappoint me so far. GOOD !

Life is good!

Penang white curry noodles

This instant noodles seem to create a storm recently.
We saw this was on "offer" in Giant - 2 for $7.90. Each bag contains 4 individual packs noodles.
It is so much expensive than normal maggi but probably worth a try.

Verdict: gravy is thick, probably due to the non dairy cream powder (coconut).
It's spicy, thick and fragrant. Not bad la.

Riders cafe @ bukit timah

I cannot recall when was the last time that we visited...
Upon arrival, the sweet smell of nature and horse shit greeted us.
Haha... It actually bring back some memories. Nice !!!

We were supposed to be here for desert only - the death of chocolate cake.
But I ended up ordering the Greek Pasta Salad as well. I highly recommend this as its pretty yummy.

On the other hand, the chocolate cake was a little disappointment.
It's just taste different as the frosting is too hard. And every bite is too dense.
I rather opt for Au Chocolat.

Greek pasta salad - $16

Death by chocolate - $13

Sea salt @ turf club

Pork knuckle for $24.

The skin was extremely crispy but had a burnt taste.

Try the pulled pork sandwich as it has a stronger favour.

Choupinette ... It's a YES

I simply love brunch.... Where I can have breakfast and lunch at one go ;-)
Choupinette is a small cosy French cafe, located along bukit timah.
Note: closed on Monday.

Inside the cafe: bread, anyone ?

Egg Royale set: Toast is crispy, the whole combination is awesome.
I will go back for more.
Comes with juice and hot drink.

Chouchou's set: toast with chicken.
Comes with drink and desert.

Creme brûlée: not too sweet. I like ...

Here's my only buy during the recent hongkong trip - a pandora charm that carry the word "福". It means blessing, good fortune, bliss.

Why this out of hundreds of charm?
The bracelet and "present" charms were gifts from good friends.
The beautiful bow was a Xmas pressie.
Each piece has its special meaning and meant alot to me. So the 福 charm reminds me that I am very fortune to have family and friends; and I know I will follow this bliss and friendship for life!

And why get the charm in HK, not SGP?
Because I am on a trip with Foo. We survive the first year of marriage and still manage to travel frequently.
Importantly, I married a Foo which sounds like 福.

I have a bagful of 福... Yeah
