What have I done?
Yes, that's the curtain + frame.
Recently, I am in a shopping mood again (yes, I am buying "luxury" things now because I hold a job now, and I know I cannot afford that once I am jobless *soon*). Ok, I am very keen in buying a ring but on second thought, I think it is better hold it till later since I have a HUGE ticket to pay.
In the mean time, I came across a little survey about Singapore women and diamond.
1. Most of them who wears their diamonds regularly are those with diamond ring size between 0.65ct to 1.2ct.
2. those with engagement ring above 1.5ct, they do not wear it regularly as they found it too big and flashy. And also partly scare that they may misplace it. They prefer to keep it in their jewellery box and wear only on occasions.
3. Most whose diamond is below 0.5ct, they do not wear it regularly as they say they paiseh to wear out and scare people ask if that is their engagement ring, to save face for their husband. (yah i know, its sad but true, some gals are still materialistic, but at least they still said 'yes' which is more impt. )
I guess the answer when other asks about the ring - one can proudly say "I bought it"! :)
I know some friend may say "Steph, you can live without those materialistic items". Yes, I can; but I know once I force myself to give up... it will also mean I will need to let go of something/someone/anything.
It is different stages in my life. Not sure if I can compare to the times where I enjoyed party so much that almost nothing can stop me.... until the moment when I feel "Ok, that's enough alcohol, stop/less parties".
The monster in me is hibernating, don't wake her up.
Don't worry, I am the good Steph most of the time. haha..now, buy or don't buy?
